About Palak Paneer

Ingredients :
- 500 grams paneer
- 500 grams spinach
- 2 onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 2 tablespoons coriander
- 1 teaspoon salt
Steps :
1. Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan and add the spices of your choice – cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, and bay leaves. Once the spices are fragrant, add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
2. Add the tomatoes, ginger, turmeric, garam masala, chili powder, cumin, and coriander. Cook for another 5 minutes.
3. Next, add the spinach leaves and allow them to cook until they are soft. Once the leaves have wilted, add some cashew cream to the mixture and blend it in a blender until you get a creamy paste.
4. Reduce the heat to low and add the paneer cheese and mix it into the spinach paste. Allow it to cook for a few minutes until the cheese has melted and the flavors have blended together.. Simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Serve the palak paneer with some hot, fluffy rice or some naan and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Enjoy!
